Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students of the Class of 2012
It is hard to believe, but in just a few short weeks, we will be celebrating Senior Week, Senior Class Night, and Graduation Day! The Senior Class officers, representatives, senior class advisors, Mrs. Dawn Parker, Mr. Shawn McDonough, and a number of other staff members are working hard to ensure that activities for Senior Week go smoothly.
Over the past year, working closely with faculty and students, we have invested great time and effort maintaining Campbell High School's most valued traditions while establishing a few new ones. The Senior Class is also well aware that we expect the graduation ceremony to be respectful, for it is on Graduation Day that we honor our families, our friends, our school, our community, and each other.
On Graduation Day, June 8th, we want the Class of 2012 to collectively honor our speakers by allowing them to address the audience free of distractions; this is a privilege the speakers have earned. One of our most valued traditions is the respect and dignity of our ceremony. We will be meeting with the Senior Class to reinforce our expectations and to share with them the significance of the day.
It is our sincere hope that the Class of 2012 takes with them the ability to communicate effectively, solve problems, think critically and use information to foster their continued learning.
I appreciate very much the support each of you has given to the Campbell High School community. I'll see you at the ceremony!
